George W. Hill, 90, of Napoleon died Saturday afternoon, July 20, at the Henry County Hospital. Born in Marion Township of Henry County Jan. 1, 1901, he was the son of John and Leta (Shoupe) Hill. In 1927, he married Cora Flint and she preceded him in death in January 1962. He had been an employee of Pohlman Farms, Malinta for 30 years. Surviving are three sons, Bernard of Wayne, Ohio; Larry of Defiance and Frederick of Napoleon.; six daughters, Lola Kuhlman and Shirley Boyett, both of Custar; Bonnie Shafer of Napoleon, Doris Rippee of Holgate, Janet Schott of McClure and Becky Martinez of Defiance; 34 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. Also preceding him in death were a son, William, a daughter Eunice; and three granddaughters. Services were held at 11 a.m.Tuesday, July 23 at the Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon, Rev. Steve Chellew officiated. Interment was at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
