Harold H. Hahn, 82, of Hamler, died at his home. He was born March 24, 1899 in Henry County to Henry and Anna (Quell) Hahn. He married Clara Fintel on July 12, 1923, and she survives. Also surviving are a son, Waldo of Murray Hill, NJ=.J.; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Wanda Lou) Badenhop of Hamler, Mrs. Victor (Helen) Petersen of Route 2 Deshler; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Carlton of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Meyer of Colorado Springs, Colo.,, and Mrs. Donald Ruth) Bernath of Wauseon. Mr. and Mrs. Hahn lived in Colorado Springs before moving to Hamler in 1926. Mr. Hahn operated his own plumbing business in Hamler for 10 years and served as village clerk and water commissioner for a number of years. He worked in the maintenance department of General Motors Corp. in Defiance for 13 years, retiring in 1963. He also served as sexton of the Marion Township Cemetery. A member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Hamler, he had served on the church council as a deacon and on the building committee. Funeral services were at the church, the Rev. David Morgan officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
