Obituary: Paul W. Hoops, 67, Route 2, Deshler, died Sunday morning in Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Findlay. He was born Feb. 6, 1910, in Bartlow Twp., Henry County, to Henry and Matilda (Helmke) Hoops. On Feb. 10, 1962, he married Laura Kline Huffman and she survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Clara Schwiebert, and Mrs. Frank (Edna) Von Deylon, both of Deshler. A self-employed farmer, Mr. Hoops was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Deshler and the Deshler American Legion. Services were at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the church, Pastor Andrew Ballas officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
