Obituary: Luella E. Gordon. 93, formerly of Deshler, died Thursday. Nov. 3. in the Browning Care Center, Waterville. She was born March 10, 1901, in Belmore to Charles and Gertrude (Kern) Hook. She married Harold E. Gordon on Dec. 19. 1923, and he died Dec. 23, 1983. Mrs. Gordon was a homemaker. Surviving are her son, Donald, of Hoytville; daughters. Mrs. Roy (Marcine) Hinger, of Perrysburg. and Doris Bruns, of Plant City, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Jack; three great-grandchildren, and brothers, Arley and Doug Hook. Funeral services were held Nov. 7 in the Snyder-Bloor Funeral Home, Deshler, with the Rev. Mark Babb officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
