James W. Good, 55, of Napoleon, died July 15 in Mercy Hospital in Toledo. He had been in failing health for a year and a half, and had been seriously ill for five weeks. Good was born Oct. 29, 1931 in Hoytville to Roland and Mildren (Karey) Good who survive in Napoleon. He married Betty Burdue on April 1, 1950, and she also survives. Other survivors are his three sons Dan and Jamie of Napoleon and Randy of Hamler; ; four daughter, Marsha Wolf of Poteau, Okla., Gloria Buehrer and Deb Borstelman of Napoleon and Kim Okuley of Ridgeville Corners; two brothers Glenn of McClure and Richard of Napoleon; and three sisters, Arlene Oberhaus of Groveland, Calif., Marilyn Jo Middleton of Toledo; and Darla Hendricks of Amarillo, Texas. He was preceded in death by a son, James Patrick in 1954 and a brother, Galen in 1936, and a sister, Shirley May, in 1965. Good had worked at Imperial Clevite in Napoleon as a set-up man for 24 years. he was a member of the Ohio National Guard, the Bert G. Taylor Post 300 of the American Legion in Napoleon, the VFW of Napoleon, and the McClure United Methodist Church. Services were held July 18 at McClure United Methodist church with the Rev. Robert Damschroder officiating. Rodenberger Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
