Obituary: A funeral mass for Carlos Hernandez Sr. 32, of Leipsic and his daughter, Sonia Hernandez, 7, will be said at St.. Mary's Catholic Church in Leipsic with the Rev. Al Miorin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Love Funeral Home in Leipsic. Sonia and father were killed Aug. 29, 1987 in an automobile accident near Leipsic. Surviving are her mother, Linda (Garcia) Hernandez. Also surviving are three brothers, Carlos, Jr. and Nickolas both at home, and Gabriel Lomeli of Leipsic; a great-grandparent, Guadalupe Hernandez of Glandorf; a maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Angel Garcia of Texas. Sonia was a second grader at Leipsic Elementary School and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic.
