A 21 year-0ld Deshler man was killed early Sat. morning when his car hit a bridge abutment south of Deshler, the Lima post of the State Highway Patrol reported. Dannie L. Walker, 21, of Route 1, Deshler was pronounced dead at the scene by acting Putnam County Deputy Coroner, Dr. J. C. Ogle II. Ogle ruled the death accidental due to a fractured neck and massive internal injuries. According to the patrol, Walker's car was northbound on Ohio 65 at the Putnam-Henry County line, when it went off the left side of the road, struck a bridge abutment and guardrail. Walker was pinned in the car for about 45 minutes, the patrol said. He was born Dec, 28, 1959 in Norfolk, Va., to Lee and Winefred (Grimm) Walker, Jr. Surviving are his step-mother, Mrs. Carol Walker of Deshler; three brothers, Steve, Duane and Shane all of Deshler; two sisters, Patricia Rash of Deshler; Mrs. Bryan Virginia) Wulff of Custar; three stepbrothers, Bryan Wulff of Custar; Greg Wulff of Weston, Kevin Wulff
