Funeral services for Catherine E. Jackman, 94, 215 Cowen St. Hamler, were held at St. Paul Catholic Church, Hamler, the Rev. Richard Notter officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Jackson died at Defiance City Hospital, Defiance She was born Nov. 22, 1886, in Hamler to Francis and Susan (Erford) Gulliom on Sept. 15, 1908 she married Joseph Jackman and he died Oct. 29, 1970. Surviving are a son, Water of Hamler, three daughter, Mrs Mary Westrick of Toledo, Mrs. Charles (Agatha) Zierolf of Hamler and Margaret of Cleveland; 16 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren Mrs. Jackman was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church Hamler and its altar and rosary society.
