Obituary: Services for Howard G. House, 96, a former Toledo resident living in Oak Grove Manor Nursing Home, Deshler, were at 3 p.m. Thursday in Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, the Rev. George Font officiating. Burial was in Deshler Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. House died at 7:55 p.m. Monday in the nursing home. He was born Aug. 8, 1880 near Fremont to Merritt and Margaret (Gonawein) House. He married Elizabeth Earp and she died in 1906. He was a retired employee of the Stay Put Auto Tire Repair Products Co., Toledo. Mr. House was a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge, Collingwood Chapter of Masons, Shrine Commandry and Scottish Rite, all of Toledo, and the Deshler United Mehodist Church.
