Obituary: Ted Farquharson, 54, of Deshler, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday in Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, after an illness of three years. He was born November 26, 1902, in Wood county, the son of Bruce and Elizabeth (Powers) Farquharson. On June 24, 1927, he married Clara Van de Bussche, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Elizabeth Ward, Deshler; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Conkey, Detroit; a half-sister, Mrs. May Clevedence, Townwood; brothers John of Deshler, and Andy of Oregon; a half-brother, Lloyd Ward, with the U.S. Army in Calif. Mr. Farquharson was a member of the Deshler Methodist Church. Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Dubbs Funeral Home, the Rev. Clayton Strawser officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery, Deshler.
