John O. Pickens, Sr., 81, of Pleasant Township died on Friday at his residence. He was born Feb. 18, 1899, in Henry County, to John and Jennie (Fitch) Pickens. He married Mildred Osborn on Jan. 16, 1929 and she died March 13, 1980. Surviving are three sons, John O., Jr. (Jack) of Findlay; Robert of Dayton and Richard of Deshler, a daughter, Mrs. David (Marily) Cusac, McComb and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, the Rev. Robert Rector officiated. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
