William Harrison (Jack) Farquharson, 30, Astoria Trailer Court, Astoria, Wash., died suddenly while at work Tuesday afternoon, February 16. He was born March 30, 1929, in Deshler.
He received his education in Deshler. For the past 13 years he had been employed by the Pacific Power and Light Co., as a lineman and foreman in the construction division.
He was married October 5, 1957 in Pendleton, Oregon, to Florence M. Rademacher.
Farquharson is survived by his widow, Florence, of Astoria; one daughter, Jacklyn at home; his father, Andy Farquharson, Yakima, Wash.; his monther, Mrs. Grace Rush, Crystal River, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Elliot (Wetona) Thormahlen, Chehalis, Wash.; Mrs. Wayne (Virginia) Christman of Deshler, and grandmother, Mrs. George Ward of Deshler.
Services were Friday, February 19, at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Luce-Layton Funeral Home, Astoria, Oregon (sic), with burial in Walla Walla, Washington.
