Obituary: EDITH C. DENNIS Edith C. Dennis. 72. of 19953 E. Church St, Hoytville, died at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20. In Blanchard Valley Hospital. Mrs. Dennis was born March 8, 1919, in Henry Township, Wood County to James and Pearl (Bland) Blake. She married Clell D. Dennis on Feb. 6, 1942. and he survives. Mrs. Dennis was a homemaker and a member of Hoytvllle United Methodist Church and its Friendship Sunday School Class. Also surviving are her son, James, of North Baltimore; daughter, Mrs. Fred (Karen) Richard, of Deshler; four grandchildren; brothers, Paul and Robert Blake, both of North Baltimore; Frank, of Findlay, and sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Basil, of North Baltimore; Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Gonyer, of Portage, and Mrs. Don (Betty) Courtney, of Findlay. Preceding her In death were brothers, John, William, Earl, Ernest, Woodrow and Carl Blake. Funeral services were held Nov. 22 In the Smith-Crates Funeral Home, North Baltimore, the Rev. Elgene R. Nichols officiating. Burial was in McComb Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made either to the church or to Hospice of Hancock County.
