Floris Dishong, 63, died last Wednesday night, May 1, in Blanchard Valley hospital. He was an employee of the Deshler Foundry and Machine Co.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Myers of Hoytville; Mrs. Ruth Rieger, Toledo; sons, Clyde at home, Guy and Ray of Deshler; George of Mansfield, Texas; Earl of Toledo, and 13 grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday at 3 p. m. in the Deshler Methodist Church, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
When Emma Inman Dishong died, a card of thanks, signed by Florris and Floyd Dishong was sent to the Deshler Flag. In Emma's obituary, her sons' names are given as Florris and Floyd. It is therefore likely that the name is spelled Florris vice Floris.
