Emma Elnora, daughter of Theodore and Catherine Inman, was born on a farm in Jackson Twp. Wood County, May 1, 1866. She was one of twelve children, nine having preceded her in death. In 1874 [sic] she was united in marriage to Elias Dishong. To this union there were born two sons, Florris and Floyd. Mrs Dishong has lived in Jackson Twp. all her life and has endeared herself to her neighbors and friends. She was always willing to help in time of sorrow and trouble and could be depended upon when neighbors were in need. Some two months ago Mrs. Disong took to her bed with illness that became more serious until in caused her death Wed. Oct. 14. During her short illness Mrs. Dishong was patient and kind and in the midst of her suffering was cheery and considerate. She leaves to mourn her loss, her devoted husband Elias, two sons, Florris and Floyd, thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, two brothers, John Inman of Fremont, Michigan, and Theodore Inman of Fife Lake, Mich., a number of nieces and nephews and a great host of friends. At the time of her death she had reached the age of 70 yrs. 5 mo. and 13 days.
