Archie Dicks, funeral director, was shot and killed in a mysterious manner at a roadhouse north of the city of Terre Haute, Indiana. While enroute home, the deceased and Mr. L. F. Vickery stopped at the roadhouse for lunch. Two men were scuffling over a revolver and the same discharged, the first bullet going into the wall, the second shot took effect in Dicks abdomen, going thru the body. He was rushed to the hospital where he died within half an hour.
