Obituary: Funeral services for Elsie M. Harmon, 67, of Fayette and formerly of McClure, were held Monday at Olive Branch Christian Union Church in Fayette with the Rev. Phil Harris officiating. Burial was in Richfield Township Cemetery, Westhope. Rodenberger Funeral Home, McClure, was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Haron died March 19 in Medical College of OHio in Toledo. She had been in failing health for a year. She was born May 24, 1919 in Oakview, Iowa to John and Verdie (Dickens) Peterson. She married the Rev. Henry H. Harmon on Feb. 16, 1941 and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Gary of McClure and Les of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Christine) Oakley of Santa Fe, Ohio; six grandchildren, and two sisters, Wilma Thompson of Chariton, Iowa and Helen Marlette of Lewiston, Ill. Mrs. Harom assisted her husband at the Bethany and Damascus Christian Union Churches, McClure from 1961 to 1966. She was a member of Olive Branch Christian Union Church in Fayette.
