Obituary: Funeral services for Roy A. Stanfield, 69, of Washington Street, Hamler were at Dubbs-Rodenberger funeral Home, Deshler. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler. Mr. Stanfield died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the head. Henry County Coroner, Dr. Wilson Stough, ruled the death a suicide. Mr. Stanfield was born Nov. 12, 1911, in Bartlow Township, Henry county, to Ardie and Laura (Dunbar) Stanfield. Surviving are two brothers, Donald of Deshler; Gehrett of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and a sister, Mrs. Osro (Donna) Newell of Deshler. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
