Funeral services for Ode Ray Dennis, 88, of Hoytville were held at Hartley Funeral Home, McComb, the Rev. Everett Mills officiating. Burial was in McComb Union Cemetery. Mr. Dennis died in Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1893, in Townline to Eugene and Etta (Thomas) Dennis. He married Lottie Bland on Oct. 27, 1917, and she survives at Oak Grove Manor, Deshler. Also surviving are three sons, Robert of Dade City, Fla., Iva R., Howard E., both of Hoytville; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Madeline) Riebesehl of Hoytville; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jay of Battle Creek, Mich., George and Clell both of Hoytville; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Ethelene) McDougle of Hoytville; and Mrs. Eva Reidling of Fremont. A retired employee of the B&O Railroad, Mr. Dennis was a World War I Army veteran and a former member of the Tontogany American Legion Post.
