Obituary: Last rites for Elias Dishong, 87, who died at 1 a. m. Tuesday in the home of his son, Floyd Dishong, five miles east of Deshler, will be held Thursday (today) at 2 p. m. The body is in the Dubbs Funeral home and will remain there for the services. Rev. Wm. R. Fausey will officiate. Burial will be in McComb cemetery. Mr. Dishong was born in Harrisonville, Pa., Nov. 27, 1862, a son of John M. and Anna Dishong. His wife, Emma Enman [sic], died in 1936. Two sons survive: Floris, Deshler; Floyd at home, at whose residence Mr. Dishong died. Also, a brother, Uriah, of Hoytville. The deceased came to this community when two years of age. He was a retired farmer.
