Barney Dewitt, who disappeared from his home in Holmes Township, Crawford County, last September. At the time of his disappearance diligent search was made, but he could not be found. A few of his bones and clothing have been found in a fence corner of a hog pasture six miles away. Dewitt had evidently fell from exhaustion and was attacked and devoured by the hogs.
