Mildred Clark, 69, of Elm St., Deshler died at 6 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at her daughter's residence in Arcadia. She was born Jan. 15, 1922 in Deshler to Michael Nelson and Cleo (Wicker) Hill. She married Edward D. Clark on May 18, 1945 and he died Aug. 11, 1971. Mrs. Clark retired from Metal Forge Inc., Deshler. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Deshler. Surviving are four sons, Edward J. of Lima; Jerry of Findlay; Joseph of Deshler; Junior of Holgate; two daughters, Mrs. Williams (Charleen) Mulholand of Arcadia; Colleen Clark of Broken Bow, Okla., 13 grandchildren; a brother, Melvin Hill of Deshler; and four sisters, Mrs. John (Myrtle) Crites of New Summer Beach, Fla.; Mrs. Lyn (Mary) Summers of Abilene, Texas, Myrna Chapma of Austin, Texas; and Mrs. Robert (Marceil) Bryan of Fort Wayne, Ind. She was preceded in death by two infant children. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Dec. 10 at Dubba-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler. The Rev. Delmar Young officiated. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
