Sarah Ellen Hague was born in Virginia, February 6, 1832. At the age 6 years she came to Ohio with her parents. She was united in marriage with John Camomile in 1854, who passed on before eight years ago. To this union was born ten children, six girls and four boys. Four girls and one boy have passed to the great beyond. The surviving members are Joseph Camomile, of Jackson Center; Isaac Camomile, of Bellefontaine; Mrs. D. C. Brown, Deshler; Mrs. Fred Lears, Napoleon, and William Camomile, Deshler. Besides these there are twenty-one grand-children and four great-grand-children. She moved from Shelby county to Henry county in 1891, residing in Deshler at the time of her death, which occurred May 6, 1906, making her 74 years, 3 months and 1 day.
She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church since 1850. The funeral was held at the M. E. church in this place Tuesday afternoon, and the remains laid to rest in Woodlawn cemetery.
