Bob (born Robert E. Lee) alias Curry died at the Ohio penitentiary on March 5 of cancer. He was one of the trio of Chicago thugs who were sent to the penitentiary for life for murdering Policeman Jesse Baker at North Baltimore, while trying to escape arrest for burglarizing the post office. Clark was the leader of the game and it was he who made some of the tools with which the job was done. After it was known that he could live but a short time, the Board of Pardons refused to grant him a pardon.
