Francis R. Myers, 86, of Napoleon, died Saturday afternoon in The Lutheran Home. Born in Holgate on Jan. 11, 1905, she was the daughter of Joseph and Etta (Christy) Morey. On June 21, 1923, she married Frank P. Myers, who preceded her in death on June 29, 1988. She and her husband lived in Harrison and Liberty Township for a number of years before moving to Napoleon in 1986. She was a World War II Mother. Surviving are her sons, Dallas of Napoleon; Richard, of Toledo; James of Liberty Center, and Lyle of Delta; 23 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were her daughters, Eileen Lashaway and Janet Ziegler; brothers; Charles, Andrew, Oral, and Frank Morey, and sisters Clara Cummins and Vera Morey. Services were held Jan. 21 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Rev. David Beck officiating. Burial was in the Mountain Grove Cemetery.
