Obituary: Funeral services for Gregory L. Drewes, 19, of Henry county Road 121, Hamler were held on Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Deshler. with the Rev. Roger Marlow officiating the services. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Drewes was pronounced dead on Nov. 19 at Owosso Memorial Hospital, Owosso, Mich., following a farm-related accident in Shiawassee County, Mich. He was born Nov.23, 1970, in Fort Dix, NJ to Larry and Ipcha (Chang) Drewes. His father and stepmother, Heidi Drewes, survive in Hamler and his mother survives in Wayne. He married Kelly Moga on Nov. 3 and she survives. Also surviving are a step-brother, Larry, and two step-sisters, Anna and Amanda all of home. Mr. Drewes was a 1989 graduate of Patrick Henry High School and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He was an employee of Pioneer Hybrid Seed Co., Grand Rapids.
