Hilda E. Honemann, 78, of the Oak Grove Manor Nursing Home, Deshler, and formerly of Hamler, died Jan. 8 at the nursing home. She was born Feb. 22, 1908, in Richfield Township to August and Minnie (Cohrs) Mohring. She married Frederick Honemann in August 1932 and he survives. Also surviving is a son, Frederick Jr. of Hamler; and a sister, Mrs Richard (Martha) Helmke, Jewel. Mrs Honemann was a homemaker. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Deshler, and its Ladies Aid group. She had served as an organist for the church for 10 years. Funeral services were held Jan. 11 at the church with the Rev. Paul Lehenbauer officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Bloor Funeral Home, Deshler, was in charge of arrangements..
