Obituary: Mrs. Virgie A. Stiles, 73, of 303 Pine St., died Tuesday at her residence. Born Sept. 29, 1889 in Deshler, she was the daughter of David C. and Hester (Camomile) Brown. She was married to Harry E. Stiles July 3, 1910 and he died in February 1952. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Ethel Moses and Mrs. Doris Payne, Deshler; Mrs. Vera Swihart, Hamler, and Mrs. Ina Kennedy, Fort Wayne, Ind.; a son, Glenn, Columbus; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Wilder, Jonesboro, Tenn.; and sisters, Mrs. Mabel Sherer, Findlay, and Mrs. Charles Triggs, Neapolis. She was a member of the Deshler Methodist Church, WSCS of the church, Deshler Rebekah Lodge, Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion post and Ladies Auxiliary of the Patriot Militant, Grand Rapids. Services will be at 2 p. m. Friday in the church. The Rev. Aaron Sharp will officiate with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p. m. Wednesday at the Dubbs Funeral Home.
