Obituary: Mrs. Emma Young, widow of James L. Young, who resided in Deshler 45 years ago, died at her home near Albion, Ind. Monday. She was an aunt of Darrell and Ben Young, of Deshler; and the grandmother of Mrs. Wayne Plotts, of Belmore. Also surviving are three sons, Rollie, of Brimfield, Ind.; Homer, of Detroit; and James, of Glendale, Ill. A daughter, Mrs. Ollie Thomas, of Deshler, is deceased. Deshler Flag, January 3, 1946: Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Diehl Young, 86, who died at Albion, Ind. December 24, were held Thursday of last week at 10:30 a.m. at the residence, with Rev. B. E. Hoover in charge. Burial was in Orange cemetery in Albion.
