Clifford E. Coffman, 79, of rural McComb, died July 17 in his home. He was born Jan. 4, 1911, in Belmore to Oscar and Belle (Shaffer) Coffman. He married Donna Kelly on Aug. 5, 1937, and she died Nov. 1, 1959. He married Jeanetta Brown Haughn on July 22, 1962, and she survives. Mr. Coffman was a retired assistant postmaster in Leipsic. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of F&AM Lodge 325, Ottawa; the Hancock County Farm Bureau, and Portage Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a former member of the American Bowling Congress. Also surviving are sons, Dennis L of Norfolk, VA, and Robb of Waterville; daughters, Mrs. Russell (Christina) Rakestraw and Mrs. Ed (Sue) Bausman both of Findlay; stepsons, Dr. James E. Haughn of Wabash, Ind., and Ronald Haughn of Baltimore, MD; step-daughter Mrs. Roger (Mary) Felgar of Las Vegas, NV; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday in Hartley Funeral Home, McComb, with the Rev. Howard Mayne officiating. Masonic services were held on Friday. Burial was in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic, where military graveside services were conducted.
