Leonard Crawford, 57, a native of Hancock county, and resident of Deshler, died Saturday morning in Ypsilanti, Mich. He had been confined to the hospital for some time.

Born Nov. 29, 1882 in Van Buren, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Crawford, he had resided most of his life in Deshler. His wife preceded him in death.

Surviving are a son, Freeland, who resides in California; two brothers, Harry, of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Lloyd, of Toledo; four sisters, Mrs. Daisy Monthaven, Deshler; Mrs. Emma Mays, Galion; Mrs. Freda Homlitzal, Gary, Ind., and Mrs. Naomi Johnston, Toledo.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Rader funeral home here with Rev. William Young officiating. Interment in Woodlawn cemetery.
