Harold H. Breece, 71, Road D., hamler died at 1:37 a.m. on May 17 in Twin Rivers Nursing Care Center, Defiance. He was born July 1, 1919, in Hamler, the son of Frederick, Sr and Emily (Moehrmann) Breece. He was a self-employed carpenter and worked at the former GTE Co. of Ottawa retiring in 1983, he was and Army veteran of World War II and a member of Hamler American Legion Post and Peace Lutheran Church, Deshler. Surviving are six brothers, Donald and Melvin of Hamler, Robert of Leipsic, Fred Jr. of Holgate, Ronald of Malinta, and Larry of Defiance; and four sisters, Martha Parker of Deshler, Mrs. Richard (Loretta) Long of Findlay, Lola Kern of Ottawa, and Mrs. Weldon (Jeannette) Behrman of Malinta. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the church, Rev. Paul Lehenbauer officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
