Millie K. Badenhop, 89, of Hamler, died April 23, at Henry County Hospital. She was born Oct. 28, 1897, in Monroe Township to Frederick and Anna (Helberg) Heinrichs. She married Fred. H. Badenhop on April 12, 1917 and he died July 13, 1972. Surviving are two sons, Franklin and Bill both of Hamler; a daughter, Mrs. George (June) Streza of Amherst, Ohio; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Pauline Babcock of Palmetto, Fla. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edwin and Milton Heinrichs; one sister, Luella Plassman; and one grandchild. Mrs. Badenhop was resident of Monroe Township until her husband retired from farming in 1959, when the couple moved to Hamler She was member of Hope Lutheran Church, Hamler, and its Women of the Church group. She was also a member of the Hamler American Legion Auxiliary. Services were held April 26 at Hope Lutheran Church with the Rev. Norman Norden officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon, was in charge of arrangements.
