Died, in this place, Wednesday morning, about 11 o'clock, Mrs. Tibitha [sic] Brown, aged 67 years. The deceased was married to Mr. Nathan Brown December 1st, 1853, and to this union five boys and three girls were born, all of whom are left to mourn the loss of a good, faithful mother.

Mrs. Brown united with the M. E. church when only 16 years of age, and remained in that faith until the hour of her death.

The funeral was held at the church of her choice in this city yesterday afternoon, conducted by the pastor, and the remains laid to rest in Woodlawn cemetery. Mrs. Brown was well known in Deshler and respected by all, and the family have the sympathy of the community in the hour of affliction.
