At the hour of going to press the writer is in great fears for the safety of Mr. Pierce Bowman and Mr. Andy Hemrick, two good citizens of Belmore, who started for the Maumee River last Saturday on a fishing excursion. Before leaving both gentlemen promised to be back Tuesday, and also assured the writer that they would stop by his office on the way home and give us a mess of fish, and as we have had no tidings of them up to Thursday and we are greatly alarmed that they have gone overboard or met with "fisherman's luck" and drove home buy a roundabout way so that they would not come in contact with the editor. If they have not returned by the time the Flag reaches their home, it might be well for the citizens of Belmore to get up a searching party. We'll join it.
