Funeral services for Ancel Reynold Moses, 78, of Bowling Green, was held at 1:30 pm. Tuesday, July 9, at Deshler United Methodist Church, the Rev. Barry Weyant officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens near Armada. Mr. Moses died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 6 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born Oct. 11, 1912 in Valparaiso, Ind. to Charles F. and Thersa (Burns) Moses. He was married to Ethel Stiles on Oct 13, 1934 and she died Nov 23, 1963. He then married Hazel Mawer on Nov 20, 1965, and she died Feb. 16, 1969. He then married Edith Kiger on June 16, 1973, and she survives. Also surviving are three sons, Richard of Holland; Donald of Albany, Ga.; Eugene of Deshler; a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Marilyn) Gallant of Findlay; two stepdaughters, Sandra Parker and Priscilla Stockner, both of Bowling Green; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; a half brother Len of Utah; and a sister, Mrs. Walter (Mariba) Bunker of San Diego, Calif. Mr. Moses retired as a truck driver after 30 years with Trans-Con. Since his retirement, he had worked for Pinkerton Security at Ohio Bell, Toledo. He was a member of Teamsters Local 20 in Toledo. He also was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge, Tontogany Encampment for 57 years; Portage Encampment; Centerian Lodge, Bowling Green; Deshler United Methodist Church and Rebekah Lodge, Tontogany.
