Obituary: Franklyn L. Gaede, 81, Eustis, FL., died Feb. 11 at the Florida Hospital of Orlando. Mr. Gaede was born in Napoleon on Feb. 5, 1909 to Lois and Mary (Bernicke) Gaede. On June 7, 1931, he married Geraldine F. Hull, and she survives. The couple made their home in McClure until their move to Eustis in 1952. He was a vegetable grower in Ohio, Michigan and Florida and a former president of Ohio Farmers, Inc. Mr. Gaede was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Eustis and the Mount Dora Lions Club and Golf Association. He was a former member of rural Deshler's Peace Lutheran Church. Also surviving are a daughter, Constance Wichman of rural Hamler; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine Stover and Viola Leonard. A graveside service was held on Feb. 16 in Napoleon's Forest Hill Cemetery, Rev. Paul Lehenbauer of Peace Lutheran Church officiating.
