Funeral services for Charles E. Hyter, 51 of Huddle Road in Napoleon, were held at Wright Funeral Home in Liberty Center with the Rev. Walter Baese officiating. Burial was in Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville. Hyter died of natural causes Oct. 3 in Henry County Hospital. He was born Sept. 5, 1936 in Colton to Robert P. and Marcille (Bolton) Hyter and his mother, now Marcille Mitchell survives in Napoleon. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Dawn) Brown and Mrs. Randy (Christine) Wilhelm, both of Defiance and Mrs. David (Tammy) Sheller of Holgate; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald of Fort Washington, Md., and Bernard of Grand Rapids; and five sisters, Mrs. Duane (Mary Lou) Schoonover of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. George (Dorothy) Fahrer of Malinta, Mrs. Dennis (Linda) Morrow of Wauseon, Mrs. George (Rose) Hessler of Erie, Pa.; and Mrs. William (Alice) Wink of Garrett, Ind. Hyter had been a chef in a number of northwest Ohio restaurants.
