Walter F. Bergman, 58, 320 South Keyser Ave., Deshler, died in the Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green. Bergman was an employee at the Deshler Lumber Company for over 30 years. He was born on August 1, 1923 in Deshler to Fred W. and Dora K. Bergman. He married Esther Arps on July 8, 1945 and she survives. Also surviving are two children, Scott of Custar and Mrs. Ronald (Kathlene) Hotchkiss of Maumee; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Martin (Juanita) Rossow, of Custar. Memorial services were held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Deshler with the Rev. Willis Yarian officiating. Interment was at the Deshler Woodlawn Cemetery.
