Obituary: Funeral services for former Deshlerite, George Corbin Dishong, 59, of Mansfield, Texas, who died Sunday, April 20, in a Ft. Worth hospital, were held April 23 in the 1st Baptist Church of Mansfield. Interment followed in Ft. Worth. Mr. Dishong, a mill foreman, was born in Deshler on November 19, 1920, son of the late Floris and Cora (Brown) Dishong, and married Frances Palmer in 1945 in Texas. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church and a WWII veteran. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Cook of Pampa, Texas, and Debbie Dishong of Mansfield; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Myers of Hamler; and Mrs Ruth Reiger of Toledo; two brothers, Ray and Clyde Dishong of Deshler; and two grandsons.
