Obituary: Mrs. N. Pearl Buchanan, 72, a retired school teacher of Rt. 1, Deshler, died Monday evening at Wood County hospital. Born April 29, 1899, she was the daughter of David and Agnes (Butler) Boyer. She married Webster Buchanan in 1934 and he died in 1964. Survivors are Roderick and Nancy, at home, and a sister, Mrs. Essie DeAngelo, St. Petersburg, Fla. Mrs. Buchanan was president of the Ladies Literary Club of Hoytville. She was a member of the Deshler United Methodist Church and attended the Deshler Church of the Brethren. Services will be a 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brethren Church with Rev. Harold Hendricks and Rev. Roger Harding officiating. Burial will be in McComb Union Cemetery. Visiting hours at the Bloor Funeral Home are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Wednesday. The body will lie in state Thursday from noon until 2 p.m.
