Obituary: Mrs. Maude M. Young, 83, of 307 Stearns Ave., died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Noble Stevenson, 134 1/2 E. Main St. She had been ill seven months. Born Sept. 17, 1879, in Wood County, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Buchanan) Farquharson. She was married to William Young October of 1926 and he died in 1960. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical United Brethren Church, Deshler, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Rose) Gibson, Deshler; a son, Gehrett (Snook) Tussinger; a step-daughter, Mrs. Fay Barbier, Lima, sisters, Mrs. George Crouch, Deshler, and Mrs. Selden Slane, Route 3, Leipsic; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Dubbs Funeral Home. The Rev. T.E. Donaugh will officiate with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
