Clyde Boyer, 64, a retired farmer of Deshler, died at 3:30 a.m. Monday at the home of a daughter in Maumee. Ill six weeks, he died of a heart attack.
Born Aug. 29, 1891 in Henry County, he was the son of David and Sarah (Butler) Boyer. He was a life resident of the county.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel; daughters, Mrs. Russell Willier, Maumee; Mrs. Wayne King, North Baltimore; Mrs. John Spitsnaugle, McComb; sisters, Mrs. Darrell Young, Deshler; Mrs. Webb Buchanan, Hoytville; Mrs. Floyd Dishong, McComb; and Mrs. Frank DeAngelo, Toledo; a brother, Charles of Deshler; and six grandchildren.
He was a life member of the Oakdale EUB Church where services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Emerson Iles officiated with burial in McComb Union Cemetery.
