Obituary: Funeral services for Robert Farquharson, 74, who died at his residence Sunday were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the residence with the Rev. F. G. Boroff, pastor of the Deshler Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler. Mr. Farquharson passed away at 12:30 p.m. Death was a result of a cerebral hemorrhage. He had been in poor health for one year. The body was returned to the home from the Dubbs Funeral Home, Deshler. He was born in Wood County March 23, 1876, a son of John and Rose (Buchanan). He lived in and near Deshler all of his life. He married Nellie Behrns January 1905 and she is living. Besides his wife Mr. Farquharson is survived by a son Lawrence, grandson Larry and three sisters, Mrs. Maude Young, Mrs. Dorothy Slane and Mrs. Jane Crouch, all of Deshler. Mr. Farquharson was an employee of the Deshler Farmers Elevator for 24 years and had served several terms as a member of the village council.
