Obituary: HELEN M. BUCHHOLZ Helen M. Buchholz, 87, formerly of Marion Township in Henry County, died Sunday morning Dec. 8 at the Northcrest Nursing Home, Napoleon. Born in Henry County Aug. 11, 1904, she was the daughter of Herman and Henrietta (Vajen) Bischoff. On April 21, 1927, she married Fred H. Buchholz, and they farmed in Marion Twp. for a number of years. He preceded her in death July 12, 1974. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Hamler, and its LWML. Surviving are two sons, Frederick of Hamler and Marvin of Napoleon; a daughter, Delores Badenhop of rural Napoleon; two sisters, Minnie Schulze of Napoleon and Henrietta Koppenhofer of Deshler; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 11 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Hamler, Rev. Duane Fluechtling officiating. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church's memorial or building funds or a charity of the donor's choice. The arrangements were handled by The Wesche Funeral Home In Napoleon.
