Comment: Ed Bolin was a common laborer, a Finnish man about 35 years old who was working by Munising. He died in St. Mary's Hospital, Marquette, Michigan basically because he froze to death. Ed is buried in the Potter's Field of Park Cemetery. 1909. Info from the cemetery.

Published in the Munising, Michigan newspaper. Edward Bolin died in a hospital at Marquette on Tuesday last week, the result of exposure and self-inflicted injuries. He was discovered lying along the railroad track by a train crew, almost frozen and unconscious. They picked him up and carried him to AuTrain where he was recognized as Edward Bolin. Besides self-inflicted knife wounds near his heart, his hands and feet were badly frozen.
