Funeral services for James Frederick Buhler, 65, of Dickson, Tenn., were held last week at Buckner's Dickson Funeral Home with the Revs. Roger Michael and Roy Beard officiating. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Dickson.
Buhler died Nov. 22 in a Nashville, Tenn., hospital.
He was born July 19, 1923, in Wood County to Samuel and Susie (Williams) Buhler. He married Dollie Dowdy, and she survives in Dickson.
Also surviving are a stepson, Mike Dowdy, of Santa Fe, Texas; four stepdaughters, Angie Eddie of Dickson, Cindy Dowdy, Overland Park, Kan., Sara Williams and Brenda Kelly, both of Nashville, Tenn. ; two brothers, John of Findlay and Jake of Marion; a sister, Mrs. Howard (Susan) Van Scoyoc, of Deshler; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Buhler had been employed by the Tennessee Department of Transportation in the maintenance department. He was a World War II Army veteran, and a member of Pomona Church of Christ.

The name of his only son, James Buhler, of Toledo, was inadvertently omitted from the obituary of James Frederick Buhler, printed in last week's issue of the Flag.
