Cloyd W. Boyer, 62, 176 Walnut St., Coldwater, Mich., a former resident of Deshler, died last Tuesday in Coldwater Hospital, of an apparent heart attack.
He was born Oct. 28, 1910, in Deshler to A. James and Cora (VanScoyoc) Boyer. On Nov. 3, 1933, he married Florence E. Bell, and she died in 1958.
Surviving are two sons, Kent A., Kalamazoo, Mich.; and Drew J., Coldwater, Mich.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Miller, Alger; and Mrs. George (Dessie) Pas, Deshler; three brothers, Carl, Fort Worth, Tex.; John, Salamanca, N. Y.; and James, Green Springs.
Mr. Boyer was a restaurant manager and a 25 year resident of Coldwater, Mich. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the United Brethren Church, Deshler. He was formerly a baker for the McCann Bakery, Deshler.
Graveside services were at 1 p. m. Thursday in the McComb Union Cemetery, the Rev. Delmar Young officiating.
