Obituary: Mrs. Nellie Mae Farquharson, 88, Deshler, died June 11 in Oak Grove Manor Nursing Home, Deshler, after an illness of four years. Born May 1, 1883, in Deshler she was the daughter of Christan (sic) and Elizabeth Behrens. The deceased was a Deshler resident all her life. In January, 1905, she married Robert Farquharson who died in June 1950. Surviving are one son, Lawrence, Napoleon; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Cleo Walker, McComb; four brothers, Fred, Frank, and Grover, Desher, and Charles, Ottawa. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. today (Monday) in the Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, with Reverend Raymond Birtcher officiating. Burial followed at Woodawn Cemetery, Deshler.
