Obituary: Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) for Mrs. Clara C. Rayle, 61, wife of T. Jefferson Rayle, who died in the Findlay Hospital Monday at 11 a. m. Mrs. Rayle was a native of Henry county. She was born in Holgate March 7, 1882, the daughter of Jacob and Rebecca Metzger Brichisen. She was married to Mr. Rayle October 1, 1912. Besides her husband, a retired farmer, she is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Hazel Patrick, of Detroit, Mich.; and Mrs. Naomi Johnson, of Atlanta, Ga.; and two step-sons, Otto J. Rayle, of Portsmouth; and Donald V. Rayle, of Glendale, Calif. Rev. Theo Mittermaier, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran church, officiated at funeral services, held at the residence at 2 o'oclock. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery, with the Rader Funeral Home in charge. According to Jefferson Rayle's obituary, he and Clara were married in October 1917; according to Clara's obituary, they were married on October 1, 1912. The researcher could not find their marriage in the published listings for Henry county.
